News: iOS 12.1 Public Beta 4 Is Out Right Now for iPhone Software Testers

Good news for beta testers — Apple released iOS 12.1 beta 4 to public testers Monday, Oct. 15. The update comes just hours after the company seeded beta 4 to developers and only six days after all beta user received iOS 12.1 beta 3.As of now, it appears public beta 4 offers users little in innovation. Rather, testers can look forward to minor bug fixes and security patches, so it's recommended that all testers download and install the beta as soon as possible. If we discover any new features present in beta 4, we will make sure to update this article.To download and update your iPhone to iOS 12.1 public beta 4, you first need to be a public tester with a valid configuration profile. If you have iOS 12's new "Automatic Updates" enabled, you can let the software update overnight. To download the beta right now, however, launch the Settings app, select "General," then "Software Update." Tap "Download and Install," then follow the on-screen prompts to download and install iOS 12.1 public beta 4.Update: iOS 12.1 Public Beta 5 Available for iPhone Software Testers While beta 4 might not bring anything new to the table, iOS 12.1 as a whole sure does.
